This three-day training program, held from December 19 to December 21, 2018, provides a comprehensive overview of advanced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) technologies through a mix of theoretical presentations and hands-on practical demonstrations. Day One focuses on tank and vessel integrity, covering Introduction to NDT, Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) for tank floors, and Automated Ultrasonic Corrosion Mapping (AUCM). Day Two shifts toward specialized inspection methods, specifically Pulsed Eddy Current (PEC) for detecting corrosion under insulation and Alternating Current Field Measurement (ACFM) for surface weld inspections. The final day concludes with high-level diagnostic techniques, including Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) for welds, advanced tube inspection for various metal types, and Long Range Ultrasonic Testing (LRUT) for both above-ground and buried pipeline screening. Each day is structured to provide technical knowledge in the morning followed by live equipment demonstrations in the afternoon to ensure practical familiarity with the hardware.
